I am influenced by the earth. This series of paintings reflect my interpretation of early earth, from its formation through early man. I began with “The Beginning” imagining the earth forming and slowly becoming solid. I saw molten metals swirling as in “Genesis” and “Molten Fire”. I imagined the waters calming as depicted in “Water”. As I worked through the various evolutionary periods, I tried to capture the sense and emotion of the time as in “Paleozoic”.

“Sacred Cave” and “Nazca Abstracted” reflect early man. I thought about the cave paintings in Lascaux France and the enigmatic Nazca lines of Peru to convey my vision of early man art. Look closely at “Sacred Cave”. Do you see the cave art? I assure you the animals and sacred symbols are there.
